Fight or flight is our body’s protection for an emergency. The body prepares itself to fight for protection or take flight to quickly move away from danger.
The body’s natural fight or flight reaction sends blood away from our hands and feet to allow us to run away or punch - without feeling pain, This could save your life in a true emergency.
Sometimes when we “stress-out” our body sees stress as a life or death situation and reacts with the same fight or flight response - it would in an emergency – stress is really hard on our body.
Healthy kids are no accident – when you feel scared or anxious Take a deep breath and ask yourself – is this really life or death or just stress. If its stress – try to relax and let your brain reset.
